LOVE OF IRANIAN MOTIFTAHMINEH MOJTAHED BIDABADI
I have always liked Iranian and traditional designs. When I was a student, I was so interested in Persepolis designs that I always thought of finding a job for myself in the handicrafts organization. Until I entered the labor market and of course I did not have the chance to work in the field of handicrafts and I could not express my interest in the field of Iranian designs. Until the Iranian Baloot Tea design project was offered to me and I thought this is where I might be able to show my interest in design.
Packing Iranian Baloot Tea was a great opportunity for me to be inspired by Iranian miniatures. First, I made several suggestions and designs with Iranian flowers and chicken. The customer wanted something more than that. A design that is beautiful, Iranian and sells!
I used all my interest and after presenting several etudes, a sample finally reached the stage of execution and printing. Of course, the design on it also has a story. Since female illustration on product packaging is limited, I decided to keep a story in mind to design on the packaging to avoid any problems.
The story on the packaging of Iranian Baloot Tea shows the story of a group of merchants who are trading tea. I tried to use Iranian spaces and Iranian forms that are reminiscent of ancient Iran and people are interested in it these days and through this lead to sales.
